Applications
- HIDAL S-CHA (Caprylhydroxamic acid, CHA) is used as an alternative of parabens. Parabens are widely utilized preservative chemicals but pose a large number of health and safety issues associated with them. HIDAL S-CHA is compatible with most of the agent for cosmetics. HIDAL S-CHA may be used in emulsions, anhydrous and surfactant system. These include cream, lotions, shower gel and make-up. It may be added to the water phase or added post- emulsification of O/W emulsions. A dosage of 0.05~0.15% is recommended.
